Guide

Net Installation

Starting with the roof, lay the net over the frame.
The net panels may be different sizes depending
on the size of your cage. In this example (4m x 4m)
the roof net is supplied in X2 2m x 4m panels.
Starting from one side wrap the netting around
the tubes and secure in position with releasable
cable ties.

Repeat this step around each net panel.
Finally tie the roof netting to the centre tube.

SEE FIG12

Side Netting

The side nets are also supplied in panels, for this
fruit cage example (4m x 4m) there will be X4 2m x 4m
panels.
Starting at a corner, wrap the netting around the
tube and secure in position with the cable ties using the
same spacing as in previous steps.
Ensure net is pulled tight around the frame.
Repeat this step on all sides.

SEE FIG13

Ground Pegs

Pull down the netting until tight, and peg down
using the ground pegs, we advise positioning
approximately 1 peg every 1m (2 per bay).

SEE FIG14
each 2m bay use 4 pegs

What to do in Door areas

Cut the net around the door and cable tie the loose
ends to the frame surrounding the door.
The door net panel is included in the door kit.
From the outside wrap the net around the door
frame then fasten with cable ties.
Trim any excess netting if necessary.

Net Installation

Roof Net

The netting for your fruit cage will be delivered in
multiple sections (side and roof panels). When
delivered these will look like an irregular in shape
(diamond shaped). For each panel you will need to
stretch them out to a square shape.

If there are multiple panels repeat this step until the
roof is covered.

Start off with the roof net panels, In this example
(4m x 4m)

The roof net is supplied in X2 2m x 4m panels,
attach each corner of the net to the corner
connectors using cable ties. Once all four corners
are cable tied work around the perimeter attaching
the net to the frame using 3-4 cable ties per meter.

(SEE FIG15)

Side Net

Attach these to the frame using the same method
as the roof net, excluding the bottom edge which
will be pegged into the ground.

(SEE FIG16)

The side nets are also supplied in panels.
