4.8.4 Power on Using Wake-on-LAN Function
Wake-on-LAN (WOL) is a mechanism to wake up a computer system from a S3 (standby),
S4 (Hibernate) or S5 (system off with standby power) state via issuing Subnet Directed
Broadcasts (SDB) or a magic packet. Nuvo-2400 Series implements the Wake-on-LAN
function for its first GbE port. To enable WOL function and power on your system, please
follow the steps listed below.
1. Configure the
[Wake on LAN]
BIOS option as
[Enabled]
. Please refer to section
2. In Windows 7 system, identify the Local Area Connection of corresponding Intel
®
I210
Gigabit Controller and click the Configure button.

3. Click the Power Management tag, and check the following two options respectively
