DETACHING THE FEEDER FROM THE PRINTER
As described earlier in this manual, the HD-CXENVL-FDR features a spring-loaded latching system that
secures the feeder to the printer during operation. When changing jobs, servicing the feeder, or in the
event you want to use the manual feed tray without the envelope feeder, you may wish to detach the
feeder from the printer. A convenient release lever is positioned on the non-operator side, close to the
printer for this purpose.
To detach the feeder, pull the release lever back towards the feeder and move the feeder away from the
printer. Once the feeder has been moved back ½” or more, you can release the lever.
While moving the feeder away from the printer, support the delivery table so that it does not fall abruptly as it
exits the manual feed tray!
