8.3 TILT X axis/Y axis
The TILT axes function can be used to tilt the axes independently of each
other within a range of ±10 %. With the Primus 2 HVA2N the tilt setting is
also monitored!
X axis
The figure to the right shows the tilt if a positive
percentage value is set.
Y axis
The figure to the right shows the tilt if a positive
percentage value is set.
X and Y axis
The figure to the right shows the tilt if positive per-
centage values are set (X-axis +5 %, Y axis +8 %).
NOTE
To set larger tilts it is helpful or rather it is necessary to »pre-tilt« the laser in the appro-
priate direction within the horizontal levelling tolerance of
±
5° (8.8 %).
If the laser is not »pretilted« for large tilts, the laser head cannot move to the set tilt for
technical reasons. The LED and the warning symbol in the display flash.
