This enables booting via a network, and remote connection to your computer from an
administrator's PC which allows you to do the following.
• Operating system installation
• BIOS flashing (Rewriting the BIOS ROM)
• BIOS configuration changes
To enable network booting, configure settings using the BIOS setup utility.

Turn the power on and immediately press <F2> key several times.
The BIOS setup utility will then be displayed.

In [Network] of the [Config] menu, set [UEFI IPv4 Network Stack] or [UEFI
IPv6 Network Stack] to [Enabled].

In [Network] of the [Config] menu, select a protocol you want to
preferentially start from [UEFI PXE Boot Priority].

In [Network Boot] of the [Startup] menu, select [PCI LAN].

Press the <F10> key.

Confirm that [Yes] is selected and then press <Enter>.
These setting values are saved, the BIOS setup utility will finish, and your computer
will restart.
This is all you need to do to correctly setup network booting.
Wireless LAN Function
The following methods can be used to turn the wireless LAN on and off.
• Turning all wireless devices on and off
• Turning the wireless LAN function only on and off
Turning all wireless devices on and off
You can turn all wireless functions on and off including wireless LAN function.
• Turning the wireless LAN on and off with the wireless switch (<Fn> + <F2>)
You can press the <Fn> + <F2> keys to switch the wireless function on and off.
• Turning the wireless LAN on and off by selecting the "Airplane mode"
You can turn wireless functions on and off using the standard Windows function.
Click the Network icon in the task bar notification area, and select the "Airplane
mode" to switch the wireless functions on and off. For more detailed information,
please refer to Windows help.
Turning the wireless LAN function only on and off
You can turn on or off the wireless LAN function only.
Click the Network icon in the task bar notification area, and select "Wi-Fi" to switch the
wireless LAN function on and off. For more detailed information, please refer to
Windows help.
Network booting function (PXE)
As this computer has the UEFI function, it is necessary to change the network boot
server to use the UEFI when performing network booting.
Turning the wireless LAN on/off
• Your wireless LAN on/off setting is saved, even after the computer power has been
turned off.
• If a peripheral wireless LAN module is connected, its wireless LAN function is also
turned on and off.
