In the Data Format field select the desired format.

Choose the sample rate at the Sample Rate field.

Select mono or stereo. If stereo is being used, the green
light is lit.
8.
Check the entries in the Work Directory and Temp
Directory fields. Make sure they are valid directories
and that they have enough space to accomodate your
recording.
9.
Select OK and return to the WinDAT’s main window.
10.
Click on the red light to put the system in Record
Standby mode (the red light blinks).
11.
Click on the Play button to start recording. The
blinking red light becomes a steady red light indicating
that WinDAT is recording.
12.
Speak into the microphone or play the input source to
record.
13.
When you finish recording, click the Stop button to
stop recording.
14.
Click the Play button to hear what you just recorded. If
it is satisfactory, choose Save from the File menu.
15.
Type a new filename in the dialog box and choose OK.
Loading and Playing .WAV Files
Use the following procedure to load and play digital audio
files.
1.
Select Open from the WinDAT File menu and locate
your digital audio files.
2.
Select the file by double clicking on the file name.
