IDE Signal Cables

Systems with an IDE hard disk drive come with a two-
connector IDE interface cable attached to the primary IDE
connector. Some systems come with a second three-
connector IDE cable connected to the second IDE device
(such as the CD-ROM reader) and to the secondary IDE
connector. Refer to the following table for the type of cable
in your system.
