4-2   Managing System Resources

This chapter provides information about the software tools and utility
programs that may be available with your system. These utilities can be
used to manage local or networked resources and monitor systems for
unusual behavior. Tools include LANDesk Client Manager and the NEC
ToolTelligent

™

 suite of utilities. The ToolTelligent suite includes the

NEC WebTelligent

™

 software for server-side management, NEC

WebTelligent Auto Discovery Agent to install on client systems, the NEC
SNMP Agent, the NEC Auto Backup Utility, and the NEC Configuration
Change Notification.

See the following table for a quick guide to the utilities, tools, or
procedures required in managing system resources. For detailed
information about these and other tools, see the sections following the
table.
