Solving System Problems 6-7

No sound.

Check that your head set is plugged in.

Sound is only coming from one speaker.

Balance the speaker output by adjusting the balance in the sound
software. See your Windows Multimedia online help.

How to Clean the Mouse

Under normal conditions, your mouse has a self-cleaning mechanism that
prevents a buildup of dust or lint around the mouse ball and tracking
mechanism. Periodically, however, you might need to clean the mouse
ball.

Use these steps to clean your mouse.

Wake a system in sleep mode, save and close any open applications,
close Windows, and power off your system and any peripherals
attached to it.

Turn the mouse over. Locate the mouse ball cover.
