1-3 Adjustment of PC/RGB screen position
(1) Apply a signal input of Character H + + X in PC mode 3 to the PC/RGB input terminal.
(2) Select the PC input with a remote control or the CTL PWB key.
(3) Assume the setting mode for factory shipment, using a factory shipping adjustment command of the
remote control.
(4) Push the “MENU” key to obtain the “POSITION” screen.
(5) Confirm that the signal has been identified as that of PC mode 3.
(6) Push the “EASY WIDE” key to select the “NORMAL” mode. (“NORMAL” mode in initial state)
(7) [For a PC mode that has no “FULL” mode, the ON Screen is not displayed to show the screen mode. It is
unnecessary to select the screen mode.]
(8) Push the cursor keys “ ” and “
∨
” of the remote control and select “H POS.”
(9) Make adjustments by pushing the cursor keys “<” and “>” until horizontal balance is secured.
(10) Push the cursor keys “ ” and “
∨
” of the remote control and select “V POS.”
(11) Make adjustments by pushing the cursor keys “<” and “>” until vertical balance is secured.
(12) Confirm that “H CLK” stays at 0.
(13) Similarly, push the “EASY WIDE” key to select the “FULL” mode. Adjust both horizontal and vertical
positions and phase. Confirm that “H CLK” stays at 0. [For a PC mode that has no “FULL” mode, it is
unnecessary to select the screen mode.]
(14) Change the PC mode of the input signal and repeat the steps of (3) to (13).
Repeat the steps from 4 to 16 for the PC mode.
In case of PC mode 6, set the signal so that none of HD and VD signals will be output and that it will be G
on Sync.
In PC mode 14, 15, or 16, wide signals are used. If PC mode is not properly identified on the screen, reset
default mode as necessary and chenge the “Wide PC” setting of the “Benri function” on the menu from
“Auto” to “ON”. After adjusting the wide signals, change the “Wide PC” setting back to “Auto”.
(15) Apply PC mode 1 (RGB NTSC (15 kHz), VG used) and repeat the above steps (3) through (13) in section
1-1.
(16) Apply PC mode 2 (RGB PAL (15 kHz), VG used) and repeat the above steps (3) through (13) in section 1-
1.
(17) Apply PC mode 18 (RGB NTSC monoscope signal (31 kHz IDC-3000G)) and repeat the above steps (3)
through (13) in section 1-1. No stadium.
(18) Apply PC mode 17 (RGB PAL monoscope signal (31 kHz IDC-3000G)) and repeat the above steps (3)
through (13) in section 1-1. No stadium.
(19) Apply PC mode 19 (RGB HDTV signal, VG used) and repeat the above steps (3) through (10) in section
1-2.
(20) Exit Service mode
