1.1 Power ON & OFF

Keep the power switch in the"

" (ON) position to maintain constant communication. If it

is in the "

" (OFF) position, the machine is able neither to receive a document nor store

the contents of the document in its memory. Communication is also interrupted if the
power switch is pressed to the "

" (OFF) position during communication.

1.1.1 Turning the Machine power ON

Press the power switch to the "

" (ON) position.

Message Display. The machine is ready for transmitting or receiving documents now.
