2. Checking by Universal RAID Utility
After the installation, check the connections and settings of the BBU using the Universal
RAID Utility which is RAID controller management uitlity.
2-1. Procedure for RAID Viewer (Windows Only)
1.
Open the RAID Viewer of Universal RAID Utility.

Confirm the setting of "Battery status" of RAID controller. There is no problem if
displayed as "Normal".
Indicates the status of the battery installed in the RAID Controller.
There 2 possible status are as follows:
Normal:
Indicates that the
battery can be used
normally.
Warning:
Indicates that the
battery cannot be used
normally due to some
reason.
If battery icon is not displayed, Check
the connected condition of the battery
control cable.
