5. Maintenance of Your Projector

Mount the filter cover.

Align two fasteners on the filter cover to the holes on the projector, and push in until the latch clicks.

Latch

This completes replacing the air filter. Reset the air filter usage time.

5-3-3. Resetting the Air Filter Usage Time

Turn on the power to the projector.

Reset the usage time in “Configuration”

→

“Reset” in the adjustment menu.

“Filter Usage”: Resets the filter usage (See page 54)

This completes resetting the air filter usage time.

5-4. Cleaning the Laser Unit

Clear away any dust from the ventilation slots on the front and sides of the laser unit using a vacuum cleaner.

WARNING:

• Before maintenance, be sure to power off the projector and the laser unit and shut down the supply of AC power supply

by breaker, etc.

• Dust in air inlets will hinder ventilation of the laser unit, lead to a rise of the internal temperature and can cause a fire or

malfunction.
