3. Projection of Images (Basic Operation)

3-7. Turning your projector off

1

Press the POWER button on the projector control panel for three seconds or longer.

The light source is turned off, the POWER button indicator blinks green, and the STATUS indicator blinks orange (cool-
ing state). The fan will continue to rotate while cooling, and the amount of time remaining for cooling is displayed on
the LCD screen. The cooling-off time is 60 seconds.
When the cooling is finished, the POWER button indicator turns off and the status indicator lights orange (standby
state). KEY LOCK becomes automatically on if no control panel operation takes place in the standby state for 30
seconds by default. Buttons on the control panel do not function while KEY LOCK is on. (See page 43)

Wait till the projector enters standby state before turning off the main power switch of the projector.

The POWER button indicator is turned off and the main power is turned off.

Turn off the main power switch of the laser unit.

For the NC1440L-A, turn off the laser units starting from the one furthest away from the projector.

Return the switch for laser administrator to the OFF position, then remove the key.

Remove the power plug of the projector from the power outlet, then shut down the breaker to

which the AC power cable of the laser unit is connected.

NOTE

In the following situations, do not switch off the main power switch of the projector, remove the power plug of the
projector, nor shut down the breaker to which the AC power cable of the laser unit is connected. Such actions
may cause damage the projector.
•  While projecting images
•  While the power is on
•  While the fan is running after the light source is turned off (The cooling-off time is 60 seconds)
