Chapter 2 Preparations
After attaching the stabilizers, set up the server as
shown in the image.
(b) Installing the vent holes cover
Important To maintain the cooling effect in the server, be sure to attach the vent holes cover.
Do not install the server in an area where the vent side might be blocked by walls or
objects.
(2) For horizontal mounting
To mount the server horizontally, attach the provided rubber feet to the positions shown in the image. Also
attach the vent holes cover on the right side of the server (the server top if vertically mounted).
Important
•
If the server is horizontally mounted, you may put devices that weigh less than 5
kg on the top of the server.
•
To maintain the cooling effect, be sure to attach the stabilizer and vent holes
cover. Do not put any objects on the sides of the server.
Insert the four tabs in the grooves
of the unit.
Attach the rubber feet on the right
side of the server as shown in the
image.
Tabs on the vent holes cover (4 tabs)
Orient and insert the 4 tabs into
the holes of the server.
