Disassembly and Reassembly 4-9

Installing the Processor Cover

To install the processor cover, perform the following (see Figure 4-3).

Observe the safety and ESD precautions listed at the beginning of this
chapter.

Make sure no tools or loose parts have been left inside the chassis.

Place the cover on the left-hand side of the chassis towards the top and insert
its hooks into their mating slots on the chassis.

Slide the cover right towards the from of the chassis until its hooks are fully
engaged in the chassis.

Secure the cover with its thumbscrew.
