Chapter 2 Preparations
Update the system configuration information by following procedure.
1) Connect the AC cord to the server, then push the power switch to power on.
2) If POST screen is indicated, press F2 key of the keyboard and enter BIOS setup screen.
3) The POWER switch is pressed and the power supply of the server is turned off.
4) Remove the AC cord from the server, and leave the AC power of the server off around 30 seconds.
5) Connect the AC cord to the server again, and push POWER switch in order to power on the server.
Removing the 3.5-inch fixed hard disk drives
Remove the 3.5-inch fixed hard disk drives from the HDD cage by using the following procedure.

Regulatory Notices.

Disconnect the power cable and interface cable from the hard disk drives.
Press the part shown in the figure to unlock the HDD tray, and then remove the hard disk drive out
from the HDD cage.
