Field Service Guidelines 4-5

Required Tools and Equipment

All NEC Versa corrective maintenance procedures can be performed using the following
tools:

Tweezers

Small flat-head screwdriver

Small Phillips screwdriver

Small Hex-bolt screwdriver

Small utility knife

Rubber finger tip

Right angled dentist style probe.

Battery Pack

Remove the battery pack installed in the NEC Versa 2600 system as follows.

Make sure the power is off.

Close the LCD and turn the system over.

Press the battery release latch and slide the battery out of the system.
