Room Temp Alarm
This function allows the integral temperature measurement circuitry of the SensorMATe
to be used. It has a specified accuracy of ± 2
°
C
.
An alarm will be raised when the
ambient temperature goes outside of the defined parameters. The “Room Temp. Alarm”
configuration pages allows the installer control of the following functions:
•
Enabled
– Select to “Yes” to enable and “No” to inhibit the facility.
•
Low Temp. (
°
C)
– Adjustment for low temp. set point between 5
°
C and 19
°
C.
•
Low Alarm Repeats
– Configurable between 0 (Off) and 9 repeats.
•
High Temp. (
°
C)
- Adjustment for high temp. set point between 21
°
C and 50
°
C.
•
High Alarm Repeats
– Configurable between 0 (Off) and 9 repeats.
•
Alarm Rep
.Dly. – Configurable in 5 minute steps between 10 and 60 minutes.
•
Alarm Type
– Pick the required alarm type to be used when the alarm is
transmitted from “std/any” (alarm type 0) or “temperature” (alarm type 47)
Note: If the “Room Temp Alarm” is used ensure the unit is placed away from
areas which may not give a true reading of the Room ambient temperature such
as Gas boilers, fires, radiators, external walls etc.
7.6 Radio Settings
This area contains settings for adjusting the following radio parameters:
•
Single Receiver
– This setting allows the SensorMATe to stop transmitting when
it receives an “Acknowledgement” signal transmitted back from the target
receiver. This setting increases battery life and decreases the chance of cross
talk interference by controlling the amount of RF data that the unit transmits.
