Preventive Maintenance

Cleaning a Card Reader

▶

In order to prevent problems caused by the pollution of electromagnetic components on

the transport path, it is important to strictly follow the cleaning cycles and methods.

1. Using canned air, dust out any accumulated debris inside the card reader. This task

must be performed from the front and rear of the ATM.

2. Clean magnetic head with a cleaning card.
3. Through diagnostics, test the functionality of the card reader.
