“Reweigh,” “gm/lb,” or “Zero” switches do not work.
1. Ensure that the membrane switch panel is properly connected.
NOTE: If the gm/lb disabling switch has been activated
(see page 1-2), gm/lb will be disabled and the scale will
only display in grams.
2. With power off, check resistance of switch at pin on J2 of the
display PCB ( Fig. 3M ). Resistance must be <= 5 ohms when
pressed. If not, replace the membrane switch panel.
3. Ensure that pressing the inoperative switch pulls its signal line
to ground on the main PCB.
a. If not, test display PCB ribbon cable. Replace if
non-functional.
b. If so, return to Natus Medical to service the main PCB.
Testing the display
Simultaneously press gm/lb while powering on the scale. All LEDs
illuminate with the exception of “Charging,” which will only
illuminate if line power is present.
