HEALTH TIP AND RECOMMENDATIONS
• Should you have any concerns about health issues, consult your doctor before using
the heating blanket.
• Do not use the heating blanket on parts of the body that are swollen, injured or
inflamed.
• Should you experience persistent pains in the muscles and joints, please inform your
doctor. Persistent pains can be a symptom of serious illness.
• If you experience any pain or discomfort while using the unit, stop using it immedi-
ately. Not intended for medical use in hospital.
• Do not use the heating blanket on children or persons who are disabled, asleep or
insensitive to heat.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Never use the blanket unsupervised.
• The unit is designed for private home use only.
• Do not fall asleep while the heating blanket is switched on. Prolonged use of the
heating blanket at a high setting could lead to skin burns.
• Do not cover the blanket with any other cushions. The control switch should not be
covered or placed on or below the blanket while the unit is in operation.
• Do not sit on the heating blanket, only place the blanket on the part of your neck
you want to relax.
• Never touch a heating blanket that has fallen into water. Unplug the unit from the
mains outlet immediately.
• Keep the mains lead away from hot surfaces.
• Never carry, pull or turn the heating blanket by the mains lead and do not let the
lead get tangled.
• Do not use the heating blanket when wet and only use it in dry environments (not
in the bathroom or similar environments).
• The control and leads must not be exposed to any kind of moisture.
• If a fault occurs, do not attempt to repair the unit yourself. Repairs must only be
carried out by an authorized specialist dealer or other suitably qualified personnel.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by its manufacturer, its service
agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard. When storing the
heating blanket, allow it to cool down before folding.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play
with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children
without supervision.
• Do not crease the appliance by placing items on top of it during storage.
• Children under the age of three are not to use this appliance due to their inability to
react to overheating.
• The appliance should not be used on an adjustable bed.
• The product is an underblanket.
• When not in use, store as follows.
• This appliance must not be used by persons insensitive to heat and other very vulnerable
persons who are unable to react to overheating.
• If the appliance is slept on with the controls set to a higher temperature the user
may suffer skin burns or heat stroke.
• The appliance can be used by children older than 3 years and younger than 8 years
under supervision and with the control always set to minimum temperature value.
• The cable and control unit of the appliance can give rise to risks of entanglement,
strangulation, tripping or treading if not correctly arranged. The user shall make
sure that excess ties and electric cords shall be arranged in a safe way.
