Installing Gate Post Brackets and the Arms for Push-to-Open Gates



Installation method for push-to-open gates is similar to pull-to-open except that
when the arms are retracted, the gates are in the closed position.



Note that for push-to-open gate, the gate post bracket arms pivot point is the on the
same plane as the gate hinge pivot.

Push-to-Open Gate (Fully closed)

Push-to-Open Gate (Fully Opened)

Important Note (Non-Parallel of Arms and Gate):

When the gate is Fully Opened or Fully Closed, the Arms must NOT be parallel with the
gate.
