8.3. Addition of memories
The MP1400 CNC has a total of 100 memories, each one of these having a capacity of these memories to
define up to 20 folding operations. Therefore, we can say that we have a great usable storage for the defi-
nition of infinite parts.
Now that we know the number of memories and folding operations, before moving on to the issue thereof, it
is useful to know the basic concepts that form part of a memory.
A memory is composed of some general parameters that are global to the entire memory. These parame-
ters are the material and thickness of the sheet. Material will be chosen between 5 different types: Iron,
Copper, Aluminum, Steel and Corten. Thickness may be any whenever it does not exceed the máximum
fixed limits that will be explained later on.
As far as folding operations is concerned we can say they are composed by 9 elements. These ones are
indicated in the following screen.
