Arming in Stay Mode
Interior Zones, when bypassed, allow free movement within the home while the
protection of armed perimeter zones is maintained.
To arm with Interior Zones bypassed:

Enter your User Code followed by
P
.

Hold down
P
for 2 seconds (with Easy Arming enabled).
The red ARMED light turns on, the window will display “BYPASS” and “PLEASE EXIT...
XXX SECONDS” (where “XXX” represents the exit time remaining, in 2-second steps).
At the end of the exit delay, the display will display “SYSTEM ARMED” with “BYPASS”
indicated.
Instant Protection
When retiring for the evening, after all family members are home, you can cancel the entry delay on the Entry Zone(s) by hold-
ing down
P
for 2 seconds with the system armed.
•
While armed, the red ARMED light will flicker rapidly to indicate instant protection.
•
Instant Protection cancels the entry delay, therefore if a door is opened after the system is armed (at the end of the exit de-
lay) the system will immediately proceed into alarm.
•
If Instant Protection is invoked just after entering your code in the keypad, the exit delay countdown will remain in effect,
allowing exit of the house.
