Will not lift to full height
Reservoir may overfill
With jack upright, remove filler screw or

filler plug, open release and SLOWLY push
jack ram into lowered position. Any excess
oil will run out fill hole. Replace filler screw
or filler plug when oil has stopped flowing.
Will not lift load
The jack could be low on oil
With jack in upright position and ram fully

Pump feels “spongy” under load
and fill reservoir with clean hydraulic fluid.
Correct oil level is reached when oil level is
at bottom edge of fill hole.
Air trapped in system
With ram fully retracted, remove oil filler
screw/plug to let pressurized air escape,
reinstall oil filler screw/plug
Will not lift load
Valve may not be closing
Make certain release valve is closed. Starting
Handle raises under load
with ram in fully lowered position, SLOWLY
Handle lowers under load
raise ram out to full height. Open release
valve and push ram down into lowered
position. Jack should now operate properly.
Will not lift load
Overload condition
Remedy overload condition.
Air supply inadequate
Ensure adequate air supply of
7.8 CFM @ 90 - 175psi.
