1. INTRODUCTION
Read this manual carefully before starting your
operations in order to make sure that you can
handle the chainsaw properly and in order
to avoid accidents. This manual describes the
function of different components and includes
instructions for necessary inspection and
maintenance work.
Note: The descriptions and illustrations
provided in this manual are non-binding.
The manufacturer reserves the right to make

- The specified vibration emission value was
measured on the basis of a standardised test
procedure and can be used for the comparison of
different power tools.
- The specified vibration emission value can also
be used for the initial assessment of exposure.
- When actually using the chainsaw, the vibration
emission value may vary from the specified value,
depending on how the power tool is used.
- Try to keep the vibration load as low as possible,
e.g. by wearing gloves when operating the tool
or by limiting the operating hours. All operating
cycles must be considered (e.g. periods when the
tool is switched off and periods when the tool is
switched on but runs without load).
3. SIGNS AND SYMBOLS
The following signs and symbols are used for
this power tool. The correct interpretation of
these signs and symbols allows for a safer and
more effective operation of the power tool.
Read the operating instructions
before commissioning the power tool
and before starting maintenance,
assembly and cleaning.
Wear a safety helmet, goggles and
hearing protection before starting the
power tool.
Disconnect the mains plug
immediately in case of damage to the
mains cord or the extension cord.
Keep persons at a safe distance to the
machine.
Do not use the power tool in the rain,
and do not expose it to rain.
Switch off the motor and disconnect
the mains plug prior to repair,
maintenance and cleaning.
