Symptom Remedy
Bass too
strong/overpowering
1. Lower volume of left and right subwoofers
a. On the remote control, lower the bass volume level.
2. Reduce the number of active subwoofers. See Section 5.3, pg 34.
3. Change EQ to Movie/Music 2 or 3. See Section 4.2B, pg 29.
4. lower subwoofer crossover
a. Press “
HOME” to access the OSD.
b. Under the “Audio” tab, select “Advanced Audio Settings”. Lower the subwoofer
crossover (default is 200Hz).
5. If bass seems to be louder on either side,
a. Press “
HOME” to access the OSD.
b. Under the “Audio” tab, go to Audio Setup > Quad Subwoofers Setup.
c. Adjust “Quad Subs Balance” to even out bass distribution.
1. Press “SURROUND” button on your remote to switch to “Dolby Surround”
(or “Neural X”, for DTS Content only). Avoid using “All Channel Stereo” when watching
content with surround sound.
2. Decrease the volume of side and back surrounds. Press “SS-” and “SB-“ on your
remote.
3. Adjust surround channel volume
a. Press “
HOME”. Go to Calibration > Advanced Sound Setup > Volume Level

b. Increase the volume of “Left + Right” and “Center” channel.

Ensure content being played has surround sound (e.g. 5.1ch or Dolby Atmos). When
playing content with weak/no surround effects, Press “All Channel Stereo” on your
remote. Front channels will be upmixed to the surround speakers.
