6 User servicing instructions
• Disconnect electrical power prior to servicing equipment.
• Wear appropriate protective clothing.
• Collected particulate may be hazardous. Consult proper authorities for handling and disposal.
• Disposal of collected particulate must be according to federal, state and local regulations and all appropriate authorities.
6.1 Filter replacement

Removing the filters may expose you to hazardous contaminants. Take all necessary precautions including protective
clothing such as eye protection and gloves.
• Follow all local safety and environmental codes in disposal of the accumulated particulate.

Sparkproof filter: 9 - 18 months
•
PFTE filter: 6 - 12 months
•
Charcoal filter: 9 - 18 months

Extraction arm is not holding position
Tension on joints has loosen
Adjust the arm joints
Support spring is damaged or worn
Inspect gas spring and repair, replace
as necessary
System will not turn on
Power connection
Verify that the unit is connected to the
proper power supply
Supplementary protector tripped
Reset the supplementary protector
Blower will not get up to speed or stay
running
Power supply
Check the supply fuse or breaker and
verify it is properly rated for use
Motor or blower damage
Inspect the blower wheel and motor for
damage or excessive vibration
Fume bypass or leaking is present

Inspect filter for any damage to the
