Switching over of Rear-Panel Output Signals
CAUTION! Disconnect the unit from the mains before opening!
Place the unit, front panel towards you, on a table and remove the steel-
plate cover after unscrewing the six screws holding it. Locate the various
output connectors on the rear of the unit and follow them all the way
inside the enclosure. Locate the switches behind the individual output
connectors, which are marked 1 and 2 in the illustration shown above. Use
these switches to adjust the following output signals:
1 2 3 4 5

1) These three switches, which are assigned to one output pair each,
switch over from Word Clock signal to video signals, and vice versa. Since
all outputs are set to Word Clock signals by default, the black sliders of
these switches are set to the left position.
2) Use these three switches to set the various clock rates for the output
pair located before them. According to the numbering on the pc board
the switches are wired as follows:
1) Word Clock x 1 (default setting)
2) Word Clock x 2
3) Word Clock x 4
4) Word Clock x 256 (so-called Super Clock for ProTools
TM
)
5) SMART BUS
