the Scanner’s tWAIN interface opens within the application for
you to start a scan.
Previewing and Scanning
the tWAIN interface allows you to preview the image, so you can
adjust the settings until you are satisfied with the preview image before
scanning the final image.
NOTE
make sure to load one sheet at a time when using the preview
window. If you preview when loading a stack of originals in the ADF,
the whole stack will be fed through the ADF and only the first page
of the stack is previewed.
1.
load the originals into the Scanner (see loading the Input tray ).
2. Select the scan profile you want to use for scanning.
(to create a new profile, see
creating a New Scan Profile ).

Color Documen t: this profile is used to scan the image in full
color. Use this to scan the color photographs, documents and
items containing colors.
