4.22 Configuring On-Board DLCs
You will now be asked to select options for the two on-board DLC contacts.
Please follow the instructions below:
1. Press:
Ctrl 1
2. Select:
Administration [4]
3. Select:
Local DLC Setup [8]
4. Type in a user number to which the DLC will call, e.g. 123 and press
Enter
.
Alternatively, if a team is to be called, press Del to remove the user number
displayed, you will then be prompted for a team for a team number.
5. Type in a beep code 1-8 (see Glossary of Terms for Beep Code Patterns) and
press
Enter
.
6. At the screen prompt: either:
Contact 1 123
Enter Priority (0-3)
a. Press
Enter
to confirm default priority, or
b. Press the
key scroll through the priority options, once you have made
your selection press
Enter
twice.
7. At the screen prompt:
123 -1-
Contact 1 message
Type in a Numeric or Alphanumeric message and press
Enter
. As there is
no message validation from the UTU, check the message capabilities of the
receiver that you intend to call to define the message parameters.
8. At the screen prompt you will be prompted to configure the second on-board
DLC:
Contact 2
Enter user number
Follow the same procedures as outlined in steps 4 to 7. When you have
finished step 7 you will receive the message:
Changes Saved
, press
Enter
,
then press
Ctrl 1
to return to the main menu.
