THROTTLE CABLE REMOVAL
Throttle Cable Removal
Remove air fi lter.

Using a 7/8-inch wrench loosen the jam nut (Figure 4) that secures the

throttle cable to the control box.
Once jam nut has been loosened, pull upward then back on the throttle

cable to disengage throttle cable from locking mechanism.

The removal of the control box may not be required. If
wiring connections, crimping and splicing can be made
without removing the box, then disregard control box/
throttle cable removal instructions.
