Using the remote control
Precautions during use
o
Point the remote control toward the remote control
receiver on the main unit and use it from a dis-
tance of 5 m or less. Do not place any obstructions
between the main unit and the remote control.
o
If the remote control receiver is exposed to direct
sunlight or strong lighting, the remote control
might not work properly.
o
Be aware that use of this remote control could
cause the accidental operation of other devices
that can be controlled by infrared rays.
Before use
Remove the isolation sheet from the back of the
remote control before use.
Replacing the battery
The battery has already been installed in the remote
control when shipped from the factory. To replace the
battery, while pushing on
 , pull in the direction of  .
Pull the battery tray out from the end and put one
button cell lithium battery (CR2025) in with the “+” side
facing up, as shown in the illustration. Then, insert the
tray again.
When to replace the battery
If the maximum operating distance between the
remote control and the main unit decreases, or the
remote control's buttons stop working, replace the
battery with a new one.
For information about the disposal of a used battery,
refer to its label or follow the disposal method pre-
scribed by your local government.
