separator is clogged, piston rings
are seized, other damage to crank
drive.

1. Check crank drive:

• Bar engine (→ Page 128).
• Endoscope combustion chambers from bottom dead center to

top dead center.

2. Check air filter for contamination, replace if contamination is

visible (→ Page 151).

3. Check setting of blow-by restrictor valve.
4. Check oil separator condition, replace if necessary (→ Page 130).
