heater,placealitmatchnearthereflectorwheremarked
“lighthere”.(SeeFigure5)THENpushinvalvebuttonon
SafetyShutoffValve.Aftertheheaterislit,continuetohold
valvebuttoninfor30seconds,thenreleasethebutton
slowly.

minutesforgastodissipatebeforeattemptingtorelight.

orshouldtheheaterfailtooperateproperlyforanyreason,

SHUTDOWN AND STORAGE
INSTRUCTIONS
A.
Thebulkpropanetank“on-off”valveshouldALWAYSbe
completelyturned“OFF”whentheheaterisnotinuse.
B.
Whenshuttingofftheheater,turntheregulatorknobonthe
heaterto“OFF”(clockwise).
C.
CAUTION:
Afterturningunitoff,heaterwillremainextremely
hot.Allowatleast15minutesforcoolingbeforehandlingand
storing.Detachheaterfrombulktankbeforehandlingand
storage.REMEMBER–POLfittingisaleft-handthread.
D. HEATER STORAGE:
Indoorstorageoftheheateris
permissibleonlyifthecylinderisdisconnectedandremoved
fromtheheater.Cylindersmustbestoredoutdoorsoutofthe
reachofchildrenandmustnotbestoredinabuilding,garage
oranyotherenclosedarea.Storecylindersonlyinaccordance
withtheStandardfortheStorageandHandlingofLiquefied
PetroleumGasesANSI/NFPA58andCSAB149.1,NaturalGas
andPetroleumInstallationCode.
