OPTIONS

36" Edger Configuration to 30" Edger Configuration

Upon shipping of the trowel, a bag containing M8-1.25 x 45

BHC screws (6) is provided to assist in the 36" to 30" edger

configuration.
1. Remove the 8" x 14" trowel blades (4) from the spider

assembly (Figure 34) using a socket wrench to remove

the 5/16-18 x 1-1/4" HHFS screws (4) and 5/16-18 x

1-1/2" HHFS screws (4).

2. Use either a 5mm hex wrench to remove the inner

M8-1.25 x 25 BHC screws (12) and inner M8-1.25 nyloc

nuts (12) to free the 36" guard-bumper ring assembly

(Figure 35) from the 30" guard ring base.

Disassembly

3. Retain M8-1.25 nyloc nuts (12) and M8-1.25 x 25 BHC

screws (6). Remove and retain the provided M8-1.25

x 45 BHC screws (6) from the packaging.

NOTICE

The 36" guard-bumper ring assembly is intended to

be removed without having to diassemble the entire

assembly except for the blades. The 36" guard-bumper

ring assembly consists of: guard ring segments (6),

bumper ring (1), and bumper (1).

Retain and
