10.2.7. Enable Mode 

 
Click this button to change the enable mode between hardware and software. 
That is the way, the TEC-Controller can be activated. 
 
Hardware: 

The input signal HW Enable activates the TEC-Controller. 

Software: 

The Start button in the main menu and the input signal 

   

 

HW enable in combination, activates the TEC-Controller.

Note: 

Enable mode can only be changed (Enable button is active), when 

   

the input signal HW Enable is disabled. 

 
Note:   When enable mode is set to hardware, the Start button in the main 

menu is not active. 

 
 

10.2.8. Setpoint Mode 

 
Click this button to change the setpoint mode between hardware and software. 
That is the way, the desired temperature is determined and entered into the 
TEC-Controller. 
 
Hardware: 

An analog voltage, which is proportional to the setpoint tempe- 
rapture, is applied to the HW SETPOINT input. 

Software: 

The setpoint temperature is selected in the main menu.
