Lay the computer face-down, then reconnect the cables to the drive.

Replace the power supply by following the instructions in “Replacing the power supply” on
page 20 .

Replace the back panel by following the instructions in “Replacing the back panel” on
page 17 .
Replacing the hard drive
To replace the hard drive:

Remove the back panel by following the instructions in “Opening the case” on page 16 .

Unplug the cables from the hard drive.

Push the hard drive release lever to the left, then pull the lever out (toward you) as far as
the lever will go. The lever pulls the hard drive out.

Grasp the hard drive itself, then pull it the rest of the way out of your computer.
