NOTE
The EDS-510A does not have a real time clock. The user must update the
Current Time
and
Current Date
to set the initial time for the EDS-510A after each reboot, especially when the
network does not have an Internet connection for an NTP server or there is no NTP server on the
LAN.

Daylight Saving Time
Daylight saving time (also know as
DST

) involves advancing clocks (usually 1
hour) during the summer time to provide an extra hour of daylight in the afternoon.
