Using HTTPS/SSL

To secure your HTTP access, the EDS-510A supports HTTPS/SSL to encrypt all HTTP traffic.
Perform the following steps to access the EDS-510A’s web browser interface via HTTPS/SSL.

Open Internet Explorer and type

https://EDS-510A’s IP address

in the address field. Press

Enter to establish the connection.

Warning messages will pop out to warn the user that the security certificate was issued by a
company they have not chosen to trust.
