10.1.9 Selection of the TAS source in MT program
(1) Press keys <TCAS> → <TAS1SEL>
(2) Select Avidyne/Ryan via pressing <UP> / <DOWN>.
Press <USE> to confirm your selection.
NOTE
After a change of a TAS source a restart of the system will be
necessary.

10.1.11 Testing of Avidyne TAS600 series
To start the system press the keys <TCAS> → <ON>.
To watch incoming data a simulated move of the aircraft is necessary. Please start
the SIMULATION mode by pressing: <AUX> → <TRACK> → <SIM ON>.
The simulation starts with course 227°, speed 100 kts and altitude of 8000
ft.
As soon as transponder signals will come in, they will be displayed on the
chart or in MFD mode.
How to adjust the simulator?
Turn
L or X Left turn: each key press turns the aircraft to the left
0,2 degrees.
M or Y Right turn: each key press turns the aircraft to the right
0,2 degrees
