11. MT Stormscope
11.1 System components
MT-Stormscope requires the following components:
Hardware
MT-VisionAir X with COM port for data transfer
GPS receiver (MT Fast Integral GPS recommended) with antenna
WX-500 / WX-670 Sensor with data transfer cable and antenna
Software
MT-Stormscope display software
11.2 Block diagram
The components of the system must be correctly connected:
Connection for power and GPS to the MT-VisionAir X are explained in the
basic manual.
Connection of the antenna, WX-500 / WX-670 and power supply for the
WX-500 / WX 670 shown in the appropriate operation manuals.
For the connection of the WX-500 / WX-670 sensor with the planned and
labelled COM port (COM 4) that is fed out to MT-VisionAir X unit. A crossed
RS232 data cable must be used.
11.3 Pin Assignment
