Problem

Cause and Remedy

Page

Make sure the battery is attached to the phone correctly.

Make sure the battery is fully charged.

Make sure Key Dial Lock is deactivated.

Make sure Keypad Lock is deactivated.

Make sure Self Mode is deactivated.

Make sure the phone number contains an area code.

Enter the phone number after you hear the dial tone.

If “

圏外

” appears, move to a place where it disappears.

You may be outside the service area or weak signals are being

received.

You might cover the antenna with your hands.

Make sure that “Call w/ i-mode” is set to “Answer”.

Make sure that the setting for incoming calls during i-mode is not

“Forward to Voice Mail Service Center

”,

“Forward to specified number

”,

“Play busy tone

”.

The network lines are busy. Retry after a while.

“110”, “119”, and “118” can be dialed, but might not be connected

depending on the conditions.

Check the information and press

; then the display (literal

information) is cleared.

Make sure the battery is attached to the mova correctly.

Make sure the AC Adapter is firmly plugged into an AC outlet.

Make sure the AC Adapter Connector is firmly plugged into the mova

or the Desktop Holder.

Make sure the DC Adapter is firmly plugged into the Cigarette Lighter

Socket.

Make sure the DC Adapter Connector is firmly plugged into the mova.

This may be the mail from someone who belongs to the individual

Phonebook entry or the Phonebook group for which you have

separately set Mail Ring Tone.

If you have received Melody Mail, the pasted melody is played.

This may be the chat mail from a chat mail member.

This is because “Determinin’gtime” is not set to “OFF”.

If you do nothing for about 15 seconds, the main display dims and

then darkens about 5 minutes after.

If you do nothing for about 15 seconds with the mova closed, the sub

display dims and then the mova enters Power Save Mode after the

specified time (1~99 minutes) while Power Save Mode is set to “ON”.

You have missed calls or received mail, or message is recorded.

When “Missed-call LED” is set to “ON”, the Call Indicator flickers to

indicate them.
