Mail

About details of mail

If the Outbox/Inbox is empty, the Outbox/Inbox List is not displayed.

If Mail Security is set to “ON”, the display will require entering of the terminal security code.

If the recipient’s/sender’s mail address is the same as a mail address or phone number stored in the Phonebook

entry with a name, the name is displayed. If the entry has been stored as secret, the mail address is displayed, but

the name is displayed only in Secret Mode.

When Name Display is set to “OFF”, the address is displayed regardless of Normal or Secret Mode. The mail

address is displayed if the Phonebook Lock is set to “ON”, even if Name Display is set to “ON”.

When Secret Mail is set to “Display OFF” (P.228), secret mail cannot be displayed in Normal Mode.

When the image pasted to mail has been deleted, you cannot confirm that image.

If the main text contains multiple phone numbers, mail addresses, and URLs, press

to highlight the next

corresponding location. When a URL is highlighted, select “Add bookmark” from the sub-menu and press

bookmark.

It is advisable that you take a note of the contents of outgoing/incoming messages, or use a miniSD memory card

(P.276) to store them. You can also store them on a personal computer by using a Data Link Cable (P.375) and

Data Link Software (P.376).
You can store the outgoing or incoming messages in the miniSD memory card to the mova.

About storing addresses assigned into folders

If the storable maximum number (10) is exceeded or the mail address is already stored in another folder, you

cannot store that address.

About i-mode Mail Deletion

When “DEL in-msgs.” or “DEL out-msgs.” is executed while the Security setting for the folder is set to “ON”, you

cannot delete any message in that folder.

When mail comes in while you are selecting mail messages to be deleted by “DEL some Msgs.”, the selection is

canceled when you open the Inbox List.
