When you find in this manual, press the center of the key. (Soft key 1 : Command key)
Press to set the selected item or execute an operation.
Do not press too hard, or the incorrect operation might result.

When you find in this manual, press the corresponding parts on the
key. (Navigation keys)

Combined operation of these keys, such as simultaneously pressing the center part and a Navigation key, does not work.

An alert tone may sound if your operation is incorrect. (It does not sound in Manner Mode, Personal Manner Mode or
when Keypad Sound is set to “OFF”.)
To execute the operation shown on the main display, press the corresponding key as follows:
A
Shows the operation executed by Soft key 2.
: Uses the Phonebook functions.
: Displays the sub-menu.
B
shows the directions you can scroll to or there are items
you can select from. (Navigation key icon)
C
Shows the operation executed by Soft key 1.
: Selects an icon or a function.
: Sets the entered character or setting.
Shows the operation executed by Soft key 3.
: Displays Redial List or Received Call Record.
: Switches onscreen instructions.
D : Returns to the previous display.
(This might not work in some cases, for example, when a
function is accessed in Private Menu.)
: Deletes texts, etc.

• Press and hold to scroll continuously.
Scrolls downwards.
Decreases the Ring Volume or Earpiece Volume, or selects the item below.
• Press and hold to scroll continuously.
Scrolls to the left.
Returns to the previous page of the Phonebook or Received Call Record
List, etc.
Scrolls to the right.
Switches to the next page of the Phonebook or Received Call Record List, etc.
