From the Mail Setting Menu (P.227),
select “Kirari Mail” “At reception”
When you receive Kirari Mail, the Call Indicator and Kirari LED light and flicker for up to 15 Kirari
Mail pictographs after flickering in the color set for Mail LED.

“ON”
The Call Indicator and Kirari LED light and flicker in response to Kirari Mail pictographs.

If you select “OFF”, the Call Indicator and Kirari LED do not light and flicker.

When the mova is closed, press ( ), ( ) to stop lighting and flickering.

When multiple mail messages are received at a time, the Call Indicator and Kirari LED light and flicker for the
last mail message.

With melody mail, the Kirari LED lights and flickers after the melody is played back. If you press ( )
while the melody is played back or the Kirari LED lights and flickers, ( ) switches to ( )

Press ( ) to play the melody back and then the Kirari LED lights and flickers.

When “At viewing Msg” is set to “OFF”, you cannot confirm the lighting and flickering of the Kirari LED for i-shot mail.

While the mail is displayed,

Neither the image from i-shot mail is displayed nor the melody from the melody mail is played back. If you press
( ) after or while the Kirari LED lights and flickers, ( ) switches to ( ).
You can check how the Kirari LED lights and flickers, regardless of whether “At viewing Msg” is
set to “ON”/“OFF”.
While “At viewing Msg” is set to “ON”, the Kirari LED lights and flickers on the Preview display
(P.204).

When Message Auto-display is set, messages are automatically displayed after lighting and flickering.

Even if you receive Kirari Mail, the Call Indicator and Kirari LED do not light and flicker while the following functions are active:
• Secret mail (When not in Secret Mode)
• In Drive Mode
• During Keypad Lock • When Mail Ring Time is set to “OFF”

Lighting and flickering are suspended when the mova is closed or when a call comes in.
P
Even if you enter the Kirari Mail pictographs for the mail title, they do not light and flicker.
P
The Kirari Mail pictographs do not support Short-mail.
P
You can set “At viewing Msg” and “At reception” separately.
