Section 2: Understanding Your PCS Phone
Adding a New Internal Phone Book Entry
Your new phone can store up to 200 Phone Book entries with up to
five numbers per entry.
To add a new entry:
1.
Press

to access the main menu.
2.
Select
PhoneBook
and press
K
or

Select
).
3.
Select
Add New Entry
and press
K
or

(
Select
).
4.
Press
K
to enter the name editor, or just begin entering a
name to display the name editor.
5.
To save the the name and return to the previous screen,
press
K
or
-
(
OK
).
6.
Press
K
or
-
(
OK
) to enter the number editor, or just begin
entering a number to display the number editor.
7.
To save the number and return to the previous screen
press
K
or
-
(
OK
).
8.
If necessary, change the number type (home, work, etc.).
There are two methods:

Directly from the Number Form, highlight

buttons to select the desired type, and use the

buttons to move the highlight to the next field and
save the change.
