Punctuation and Other Characters
You can enter the following characters using

To enter punctuation using

Wait a moment; the cursor automatically shifts to the right.

Note: If you select the Smiley symbol :) a new grid will appear displaying
additional “emoticons.” Selecting
SYM will return you to the original
symbol grid.
Tip: All of these characters (except “1”) can also be entered using Symbols
from the Options menu. See “Entering Symbols” on page 39.
To enter “1” you can also press and hold

. To switch back to
punctuation, press and hold

again.
Note: The iTAP software automatically adds a space after each word. When
you enter punctuation, this space is removed.
