Asynchronous Operating Commands

Response number codes, messages, and their corre-
sponding meanings are listed in Table 5-1. CON-
NECT messages may be selected for output to the
DTE at the DTE or DCE rate. If register S39 bit 5 is
set to 0, the CONNECT message is sent at the DTE
rate; if 1, the message is sent at the DCE rate.
